1. A number of animal diseases can be zoonotic (can also cause disease in humans). These diseases are much more severe or even deadly in immunocompromised people. People at increased risk include people with HIV/AIDS, people on Chemotherapy or being treated for immune mediated disease, people with bone marrow transplants, the elderly, the very young, pregnant women, and people with chronic diseases. If you or a member of your household suspect that you may be at increased risk, please discuss with your doctor before fostering an animal.*

2. I will not hold Furmentality Inc. liable for any injuries I, or members of my household/family, may suffer or any damage to property I, or others, may incur caused by the animal I am fostering.

3. I will keep the animal under control at all times if I take it out in public.

4. I will promptly contact Furmentality Inc. should the foster animal become lost or injured or need vet care.

5. I will contact and transport the foster animal to a vet in the case of an emergency. I am aware that I will not be responsible for the costs incurred for such treatment.

6. I agree that I will liaise with Furmentality Inc regarding any queries and needs of the animal and NOT the owner.

7. I agree to return the animal at the designated time but I am aware this can occur earlier in unexpected circumstances. The animal will be returned to a member of Furmentality Inc.

8. I am aware that Furmentality Inc. will be responsible for all vet bills associated with the care of the animal whilst he/she/they are in my care.
